Recent research on the feasibility of composite components made of glass and glass fibre-reinforced polymers is featured in the August edition of Innovation and Research Focus. The project was supported by an Institution of Structural Engineers Research Award and the research was conducted by Susannah Benson, with contributions from Shelton Nhamoinesu, Belarmino Cordero and supervised by Mauro Overend.
