Dr Mauro Overend was elected to the College of Fellows of the US-based Facade Tectonics Institute. His election was officially announced at the FTI World Congress in Los Angeles held on the 10-11th October. The fellowship the highest award bestowed by the Institute and is a lifetime honour. As a result Dr Overend will serve as a permanent member of the Institute.
