Mauro Overend appointed to draft Glass Eurocode

Dr Mauro Overend was recently appointed by the European Commission to help draft the Glass Eurocode. He joins 5 other experts from across the EU who have been tasked with drafting the new standard. The work is part of a wider effort by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) to develop and publish the second generation of EN Eurocodes, which encompasses the development of new standards and new parts of existing standards, and the incorporation of new performance requirements and design methods across multiple standards.
