Chayopas Tupberg, a graduate student in Chemistry at Chiang Mai University, Thailand, joined the gFT, April to June, for a short-term project sponsored by the Development and Promotion of Science and Technology Talents Project (DPST). The topic of the project was the preparation of TiO2 thin film coated on glass by sol-gel method and measurement for strength of coated glass. The purpose of the project was to study the influence of processing temperature on the strength of coated glass.
