Chiara Bedon (Assistant Professor at 
Department of Engineering and Architecture, University of Trieste, Italy), joins the gFT, April 2016, for a Short Term Scientific Mission sponsored by the COST Action TU1403 "Adaptive Facades Network". The topic of the visit is the coupled structural and thermal optimization of a multifunctional building skin. Her area of research includes the FEM and experimental analysis of structural glass elements and systems under ordinary or exceptional loads, hybrid steel glass components, composite structures.
