13.06.2014 March 2014 gFT member Marco Zaccaria completed one week STSM (short term scientific mission) at Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in Lyngby. He was hosted by Dr Nielsen and they investigated the stress relaxation of fully toughened glass with a finite element analysis script developed at DTU. The work fits into Marco's PhD which aims to produce bi-treated glass. The outcome of the visit was a range of time/temperature manufacturing parameters for producing bi-treated glass. The STSM was funded by the European Research Network on Structural Glass (COST TU0905).
