The proposal for a new European research network on Adaptive Façade has been approved by the Cost Office of the European Union with the name TU1403 - Adaptive Façade Network. The author of the proposal are Dr Andreas Luible, Eng. Fabio Favoino and Dr. Mauro Overend. The aim of the network is to bring together academia and industry in order to facilitate the introduction into the market of adaptive/dynamic/responsive façades. Currently about 50 institutions in 25 EU and non-EU countries are taking part of the action. The first MC meeting will take part in Brussel on the 28th October 2014, and the Cost Action will formally begin in January 2015.
